The Moorlough Shore

I stumbled upon the acapella for this song on looperman, and found the vocals really interesting- I’m part Irish myself and love the Irish culture, especially the music. Well, originally it is a Scottish folk song, but the Irish adapted the melody for another song, and Nabil Khazzaka sung this with an Irish accent so it’s ok :)

It was interesting working with new material, quite different from my other stuff. It was tricky to do Nabil’s vocals justice!

In other news, I’m painting lots more Warhammer, so I should have some more pictures up soon. It’s cool seeing my own models show up when someone searches Ogre Kingdoms in Google Images :D
Also, In a few weeks time I’m going to the Banksy exhibition in Bristol! And we’re allowed to use photography (thanks Banksy), so I’ll be taking quite a few pictures to show here.

  1. cool track! shame you haven’t updated your blog in so long!

  2. very well done. love it! thank you so much for sharing.

  3. Listened to this on the way to school. Pretty much made my morning.

  4. I love when the kick and snare comes in! It feels like the vocals are drowning in the pad though. Distorted guitar is epic.

    • Thank you for listening and commenting :)
Helpful comments, too. I’ll take pad timbre into consideration when I’m working with vocals again :)
Over on your blog, you need to get download links up for your Uberpost! I want to download those songs!
