My site got ripped!

Had a cool idea to make the site look a bit more interesting than just white blocks on a red background. I edited a few images of ripped paper, and now the top and bottom of the content box is ripped I think it looks pretty neat, and gives it a bit of an organic, natural feel. Just take a look the top and bottom of this page!

I came up with the idea, but when I tried to code it into the site myself, I got extremely confused, got no-where and nearly broke the site’s layout D:

But luckily, my friend John was more than happy to help. He’s like a professional web designer and coder, so he knows his way around a php file.

But, even he said the coding on Wordpress sites is damn confusing and messy. Wordpress is designed to make it extremely easy for the end user to publish their content, but that comes at a cost. With the website tripping over itself to make it easy for the ‘end-user’, it makes everything ‘behind the scenes’ extremely chaotic and messy. There’s files calling information from other files and css styles, and… bah. It’s confusing. After like 2 hours of John and I trying to get this to work, he finally did it, and it looks great.
